Inaugurato nel 1863, il Grand Hotel et de Milan conserva tutto il fascino di un'antica "casa" milanese. Situato in una posizione invidiabile, nel cuore della città di Milano, a pochi passi dal quartiere finanziario, dal Teatro alla Scala, dal Quadrilatero della moda e dal Duomo, il Grand Hotel et de Milan è il luogo ideale dove soggiornare, sia per viaggi di piacere che per quelli di affari. Da generazioni la gestione dell'hotel è stata affidata alla Famiglia Bertazzoni, che lo gestisce con grande passione. Fra tutti gli ospiti che hanno soggiornato, quello più illustre fu Giuseppe Verdi. Dal 1872 il compositore aveva scelto il Grand Hotel et de Milan come propria residenza spegnendosi nell’appartamento, oggi a lui dedicato, il 27 gennaio 1901.

Don Carlos Restaurant

The Don Carlos pays tribute to the Maestro Giuseppe Verdi, who stayed at the Grand Hotel et de Milan for more than twenty years. In an intimate and refined setting, re-created by paintings, sketches and scene-paintings from Teatro Alla Scala’s museum, the Don Carlos proposes Italian traditional cuisine, revisited by our Chef Mr. Mauro Moia under the light of its antique silver chandeliers. A traditional cuisine respectful of the seasonality of each ingredient. The Don Carlos restaurant also has a wine cellar made from Roman walls dating back to 250 AD. where you can taste prestigious Italian and international wines.

Ristorante Caruso

The Caruso restaurant, with its pleasant “jardin d'hiver”, offers a cuisine that reinterprets traditional Milanese dishes in a contemporary key. Inside the delightful Veranda set in the green environment of the small square, period furniture cohabits with contemporary elements, creating a timeless atmosphere that recalls the one of the Parisian bistrot. Recently, the inside hall of the restaurant was renovated, leaving anyway untouched the internal structure organized on two levels, the big Corinthian columns with decorated capitals and the two precious Murano chandeliers dating back to the 1920s.
