Parking area

About 40 meters from the cinema (22, Corso Vercelli), there is 1 parking space reserved for disabled pass holders.

It is also possible to park on the blue stripes along the street and in the surrounding streets.

Entrance

The Notorious Cinemas Gloria is located on the 1st floor of a building. The entrance to the cinema can be reached from the street via escalators, through two sets of 12 consecutive steps (18 cm high each) and via an elevator (on the left, not far from the stairs). You enter the cinema passing 5 double leaf glass doors (100 cm wide each).

Orientation signs

In the building there are:

• directional arrows with large and high-contrast lettering (at least 7 cm)
• high contrast symbols indicating toilet facilities, positioned at eye level, using medium to large size letters
• intercom (122 cm high above the floor) for opening the automatic doors to enter the cinema halls.

Reception

The ticket office (counter height: 107 cm) is located in the entrance hall of the cinema (first floor).

Some films are in original language and subtitled in Italian; for some films you can download an App for text display for deaf people.

The staff is at your disposal for any information you may require and tourist reception services.

Tickets

Reduced tickets are available for disabled visitors and their carers. Free admission for people in wheelchair and for people with 100% disability (with and without accompanying benefits) and their carers.

Lift

The lift (from the ground floor to the first floor) has the following features:

• door width: 90 cm; cabin: inner space 153x136 cm
• elevator level button panel with embossed Braille printing (118 cm above the floor)
• emergency bell (127 cm high above the floor)
• acoustic and visual signal of arrival at each floor.

Cinema halls

The Notorious Cinemas Gloria has 2 cinema halls.

The Sala Garbo (315 seats) has two automatic double leaf doors (103 cm wide each). In the front row (on the left side), 1 place is reserved for a person in wheelchair and 1 for the carer.

The Sala Marylin (332 seats) has two automatic double leaf doors (103 cm wide each). In the first row (on the right side), 1 place is reserved for a person in wheelchair and 2 places for carers.

Toilet facilities

There is a toilet equipped for people with disabilities and has the following characteristics:

• vestibule with hinged door (90 cm wide)
• bathroom with sliding door (83 cm wide)
• wall-mounted washbasin (clear space in front: 127 cm)
• suspended toilet (clear space: in front 160 cm, on the right side 33 cm, on the left side 114 cm, vertical handle on left side, handrail along the entire perimeter of the bathroom).

Cafeteria

The Cafeteria, located to the right of the ticket office, has a large room, with a long sofa and a counter (counter height: 117 cm): there are no tables and chairs.

Safety exits

Emergency routes are well indicated. The building has an acoustic and visual alarm device.
